Decoupling Pressure from Vibration: The Ultimate DP Design for Ultrasonic Terminal Welders
Born for Large Cross-Section Wire Harness Welding
Resonance enhances strength; flexibility adapts to specifications. These four core advantages of our ultrasonic metal welding machine forge reliable welding quality.
Technical Advantages:
1. Independent Control of Pressure and Vibration
The vertical down-press mechanism of this ultrasonic terminal welder keeps welding pressure and ultrasonic vibration completely independent. This allows for the separate optimization of pressure parameters based on the workpiece’s material and thickness, effectively preventing pressure fluctuations caused by vibration interference.
2. High-Power Output Capability
The DP design is engineered to handle higher power outputs, making it ideal for large cross-section wire welding scenarios. Compared to lateral drive systems, the DP (die/punch type) ultrasonic spot welder generally offers greater power, enabling the welding of thicker base materials and heavy-duty terminals.
3. Optimized Structural Resonance
The design aims to induce resonance in both the base and the horn (sonotrode) during the welding process. This resonance amplifies the relative motion between the workpieces, significantly improving the mechanical properties of the wire harness welded joint.
4. Flexible Amplitude Regulation
The specialized horn structure functions similarly to a booster in lateral drive systems. It allows for precise regulation of amplitude output to meet the specific process requirements of workpieces with varying specifications.
